Welcome to Badimia Country

If you are travelling 240 km north east of Perth, to where the West Australian wheatbelt meets the outback, you will find the beginnings of the rich, red dirt and vast blue skies of Badimia Country.

The Badimia Yamatji people, as Traditonal Custodians of this country, welcome you.

Shouldering both sides of the Great Northern Highway, and encompassing the Shires of Dalwallinu, Yalgoo and Mount Magnet kilometers of breakaway, salt lake and mulga country holds the heart and history of the Badimia People.

As you travel through  this landscape, we encourage you to explore it with all of your senses, to navigate and appreciate the core of what being an Aboriginal person, and caretaker of this land really means.

We invite you along our cultural journey to discover Badimia country.
